If you consider helping them make decisions because they have less money because their money has been given to idiots who majored in thing that ended in “studies” and therefore have fewer choices in life then yes it’s helping them out.
Obama gave the student loan deal to the fed govt in 2009. Colleges ripped off the govt big time and are taking no responsibility for the raised tuition and no jobs for the graduates. Young people have no future but Obama loves this country

Just another great plan from Obama & Biden. Whatever made them think anyone would go for this? Of course, if this works then there will widespread collection for other debts incurred for any reason.
He's saying that if you didn't go to college, preferably some expensive ivy league college, then you aren't smart enough to contribute to society and you have to pay for those who do go to college and they'll look after you.
My view: a plumber's daughter should not have to pay for a lawyer's son to go to college.
