They toppled a commie in Chilie. Good!
No, his argument is that he wasn’t answering questions and the “history” was a false history...par for the course for Putin.
I think that happened here. It was a friendly but serious interview. The analysis and response will be interesting.
I have to say, that for someone reported to be perennially dying of cancer, Putin sounds and looks like he is in top shape.
"The oblast was created under the Imperial ukase of February 1784 signed by Catherine the Great."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taurida_Oblast
"The linguistic composition of the uyezds (povits) of Taurida in 1897. Ukrainians in yellow, Russians in red, Crimean Tatars in green, Germans in gray, Yiddish speakers in blue, and others in purple. (in Ukrainian)"
"Taurida Governorate[a] was an administrative-territorial unit (guberniya) of the Russian Empire. It included the territory of the Crimean Peninsula and the mainland between the lower Dnieper River with the coasts of the Black Sea and Sea of Azov. It formed after Taurida Oblast was abolished in 1802 during the course of Paul I's administrative reform of the territories of the former Crimean Khanate which were annexed by Russia in 1783. The governorate's centre was the city of Simferopol. The name of the province was derived from Taurida (Greek: Ταυρική), a historical name for Crimea.
"Today the territory of the governorate is part of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts of Ukraine, which were annexed by Russia but remain internationally recognized as part of Ukraine."

“I don’t think Tucker Carlson…”
________
Well he got the first three words right.
Sexton isn't so bad, but his CIA background impairs his thinking in this instance. Not a very good sign though considering where he claims to be on some other issues. 🤔
Out come the MSM gate keepers knives. 😆
They both do. Z & P
Putin needed a few interruptions.
Yep, they never listen and that is why neocons are dangerous.
Hannity would end up taking flying lessons.
I am more than half way through at the moment and the conversation is so far enlightening. There might be other questions I would ask, but I haven’t reached the end yet.
So far we have a Russian/Putin understanding of recent history and events—its how they see things. Putin said it: All they want is for their interests to be taken seriously. Makes sense. That doesnt mean that we give everything Russia wants, but at least treat them as an equal.
I think Trump would have had ironed out beautiful deals between Russia and the US...
The society of 140 characters.
It’s refreshing to hear the opposing viewpoints. You have to give the guy props. Calm, concise, totally explaining some history. Much more than we get from our current president.
Let’s ignore for a minute the content of the interview.
Let’s say Tucker sat down with Biden for a 2-hour interview. Do you think Biden would be able to give you an accurate half an hour history presentation about the United States?
I don’t even give Biden 30 seconds before he Makes some mistake, lies, or wanders off looking for pudding.
The few times Putin would have got a word in edgewise Sean would have talked over him.
