A shorter holiday break in December and elimination of Spring Break would also be useful. Both are leftovers from an older situation, and would require teachers and other government employees to actually work instead of getting so many paid days off. Those folks had enough days at home during COVID to hold them over for a long time.

Good. They can teach about these days and interview veterans in their family and give a report.

I suggest that the holidays in mid-January and mid-June also be eliminated to allow for more days to TEACH MARXISM in Stamford Connecticut!!!!

We never got Columbus Day off when I was in school. Columbus Day is a very “back east” thing, west of the Mississippi nobody really cares. I don’t remember for Veterans Day but I don’t think so. Oddly enough last year my work decided that being closed the week between Christmas and New Years was a “problem” so they got rid of those days from the holiday schedule and gave us “make up” days scattered through the year, including Columbus Day and Veterans Day.

So things that offend normal people - drag queen freaks, gay rallies, gender bending lectures, BLM promotion, and tranny inclusion - is NOT divisive but things that offend leftists like Veterans Day, Christmas, etc. ARE divisive.
This is not about inclusion. It's about stamping out opposition to their deviancy.

Why Veteran’s Day?
Serving in war was another benefit of white privilege?

Columbus Day in the South wasn’t much of a thing when I was a kid - we went to school. Veterans Day wasn’t an out of school day either.

This stuff is Nimrata “Nikki Haley” Randhawa’s legacy.
Her pusillanimous conduct in the face of the enemy, as Governor of South Carolina, fertilized the ground in which grew “Cancel Culture”.

One middle school in the district actually held a workshop titled, “Columbus: Hero or Villain?”Should have called the workshop, "Columbus: the guy who so changed the world that, aside from a few isolated tribes, and maybe not even them, no one around today would be alive if he didn't exist. Yeah somebody else would have eventually found the New World, but you still wouldn't be here."
Too wordy?
