Carlson has been luke warm towards Trump in the past, but I suspect the firing from FOX and the public support he’s gotten from Trump over FOX’s treatment of him has had an effect. When someone comes to your defense on a personal matter, it usually has an effect (not DeSantis of course, but for most people). He’s gotten a little taste of what Trump has been dealing with, and it’s bound to have changed his outlook. But he’s still not VP material.
