I don’t agree that we are weak, I believe that our political leaders are weak and our military hierarchy is weak.
We never seem to lose a battle but lose wars due to these weak links.

Yes, Israel shouldn't start ground war. Too messy. But, the only way to bring the "top 100" Hamas leaders to justice is to intensely bomb northern Gaza, which will cause massive civilian causalities. And, that is just as likely to result in Hezbollah intervening and the conflict broadening.
It is important that neocons don't get their way and use this conflict as a reason to push us into a war with Iran, which could lead to WW III.
