Was the F-35 hacked, as someone that spent his entire working career in the IT industry, perhaps I'm more attuned to this type of story. Supposedly after the pilot ejected, the plane continued flying for some time before crashing, that immediately caught my attention, I figured if the situation was bad enough for the pilot to eject, the plane would have crashed in the same area, not miles away and why was the Pentagon unable to know immediately where the plane was. I did some digging into the history of the F-35 and found plenty of old articles about the software for the F-35 being stolen by adversaries. At first, I thought the idea of the F-35 being hacked was crazy but if you look around, there's quite few articles about China stealing the F-35 technology. IMO, it's possible the F-35 has been compromised by China or other adversaries.

The USA is supposed to be the world leader in software development.
If these gold-plated junkers end up grounded because of software hacks, it would be fitting denouement to an incompetent and decayed elite who are not the “world leaders” in anything except Wokeness and self-regard.
I don’t think it was either, but how do we know 100% for sure of that.

There it is, all caps.
QED
Because there is no data link tie-in to the autopilot or navigation system.
The F-35C isn't a drone and isn't an optionally-crewed aircraft.
Now, the B-21 Raider, OTOH, is an optionally-crewed aircraft and does have the possibility of being remotely flown.
That may be true, but there is source code somewhere, I have read one of the concessions the Israelis wanted before the purchased the F-35 was the source code to the plane so they could make their own modifications,
https://www.wired.com/2016/05/israel-can-customize-americas-f-35-least-now/
We know the code has been updated many, many times to correct flaws and bugs that have been discovered, meaning there is a way to update the software in the plane.
Steal the code to the F-35, back engineer it for flaws and learn how to defeat it thru the back engineering and while you are at it, insert hacks into the code, inset it back into Lockhead or however the code is updated to the F-35 and trigger the bugs in some way.
It sounds farfetched, but in this day and age, anything is possible.
The B variant crashed. If you can’t get that right, why would we listen to your opinion on hacking?
Thanks for posting - I figured it was hacked. Now it all makes sense, and no surprise, given the amount of LEFTISTS that have access to our military.
Of course, being a Democrat under a Democrat controlled House, no action was taken and the hottie fled back to China.
Chinese "tourists" caught taking pictures of military bases and secure facilities. This country is so screwed if hostilities should break out between China and the U.S........
This administration is the greatest threat to this country than anyone could ever have imagined.
Source please?
I don’t know that much about the one that crashed, but an F-35B used for training might not be as up to date as a newer or more frontline jet and might also be more accessible to a wider variety of people.
I guess we’ll have a clue if they are grounded.

How do you know this?
This particular plane belonged to the Marine Corp, they did issue a 2-day stand down to all F-35s in their inventory.
I know this sound farfetched, but worth talking about, I can’t get over how the plane kept flying after the pilot ejected and the military didn’t know where the plane was for a period time.
Maybe my concerned is unwarranted, but if an experienced pilot ejects, I assumed the plane was just about to crash and couldn’t be recovered, in this case the pilot ejected and the plane kept flying.
NO, the F-35C was NOT HACKED.
Wll, it was a B type, but we’ll let that pass for now.
We don’t know if the pilot ejected or was ejected.
Maybe the malfunction was the pilot pulling the eject handle without adequate reason to.

I don’t think you know what the term ‘hacked’ means.
