I know this is about McConnell but this struck me:

“Diane Feinstein has given her personal power of attorney to her family because she can’t be trusted to write a personal check, but the Democrats are happy to give her a say in controlling the lives of 330 million people.”

RE: while Kentucky law requires a governor to fill the remainder of a resigning U.S. Senator’s term with a replacement of the same party, Kentucky currently has a Democrat governor who thumbs his nose at the law. With the Senate balance in such a precarious position, the nation cannot risk that.

How do Democrats get away with that? They “feel like it.”

He needs his mind changed. Some persuasion.
Not actually suggesting this, only kidding, but when the young Frank Sinatra was still under a decidedly unfair and unending contract to enrich Tommy Dorsey, the rivals persuaded Dorsey to break the contract. The story went Dorsey felt a sudden change of his mind coming on when someone forced a loaded gun into his open mouth.

Good article. He should step down as leader and finish out his term. Of course, if we had a limit of two terms, he would have been out a quarter century ago.

Two words that will never happen - term limits. Is he the only turtle in the state of Kentucky qualified or capable of being a senator?

They are going to have to prop McConnell up until the end of his term just like Feinstein and Sniffy the Perv.

McConnell is owned by China and anyone else who bribes him.
