Term limits for elected officials alone wouldn’t do anything. Look at California’s legislature. Just a rotation of Communist hacks and puppets. You’d need to initiate limits for those working in DC, period. End the armies of bureaucrats and civil servants. Restore patronage again. 4 years or 8 years with an administration and then you’re out, back to the private sector.
Decentralize government agencies, distribute them to small towns all over America. Make it as unpleasant and undesirable as possible to work for the government. It was initially supposed to be a sacrifice for the person. Today, it’s a gold mine of privileges, insulated from the real world, including economic downturns. This must end.
