This is the thing with all of this stuff happening – there is no finality.

I suppose the Swedes have a “special” kind of thief that is impervious from corrections pertaining to the robber’s following the Public Conduct Guidelines.

This reminds me of how Steve Martin said he avoids muggers. He said they never mug crazy people, so he wets his pants before he goes out.
Or, they could arm themselves. So crazy...it might work.

Why don’t they do ‘stings” and then arrest the would be robbers and deport them back to whatever god forsaken country they came from? Word would get around quickly.

Because the “authorities” want this anarchy-tyranny. The conflict and disputes it creates increases their power.
Which situation gives them more power ?
-a high trust society where everyone is law abiding
- a low trust high crime society where people are constantly crime victims, and the authorities can use their discretion for selective prosecution / waive charges to reward their friends and punish their enemies
