Reminds me of a 2013/14 deployment when one of my shipmates played it endlessly until it grew on me.

A masterpiece that evokes the pain that lingers a lifetime for anyone who has a broken relationship with a bitter spouse who head-hammers through the years by restricting access to one’s children.
Been there, still there.
This song is so powerful and true-to- life. I know it had to be actual experience that fostered it’s creation.
A fave composition.
