The Writing Is on the Wall: Top NATO Official Says Ukraine Must Cede Territory in Peace Negotiations, Backtracks After Huge Backlash – But the Idea Is Here To Stay
Gateway Pundit ^

By now, everyone that’s paying attention has come to the same conclusion about the war in the Ukraine: Russian forces have the decisive upper hand, and if Kiev doesn’t sue for peace soon, the likelihood is that it will lose even more of its territory – may even cease do exist.

This is a hard truth for the Western apparatus, but it has steadily been gaining ground, as the hyped counteroffensive has not yielded any gains, and the military capabilities of NATO countries begin to get overextended with the looming possibility of conflict in Taiwan, in Korea, in Africa…

And so it happened that a top NATO advisor revealed a bit too much of what was in his mind, strayed from the official narrative, and was forced to dial down his comments and apologize.

Donald Trump said that on DAY ONE of the war.

And Trump was wrong to say that. Aggression cannot be rewarded with territorial concessions, completely unaccpetable in this day and age. Do you think China is entitled to Formosa if they decide to invade?

I've been saying this since day one. This was a civil war that the EU and the USA have turned into a massive kill machine.

Ukraine has been doing just fine with Russia "owning" Crimea for almost 10 years. And the other area...also had special status for years.

Ukraine has made no gains and has done a sh** a** job with their independence.

And the poor people of Ukraine...they don't know what's going on..as they watch their churches close and watch people being denied the right to speak Russian.

Here is my guess how the war ends
1) the Ukraine gives up some land to Russia
2) Biden claims this is a great victory for “rules based world” and “democracy”
3) after a week the news media will never mention it again

the die was cast with weakling Joe in year 1 withholding Ukrainian aid already voted on , with idiot Joe offering to send Z a plane a few days in, with incompetent Joe in charge of a war he won’t commit to win and with corrupt Joe beholden to the Ukraine of Burisma and the military-industrial complex. right now you have a human meat-grinder which is morally unaceptable. with DJT you had deterrence. realism saves lives.

Most likely. Also, if this lingers into next year the public will be 75% against it, which hurts the Dems, So yes they will end their proxy war and surrender to Russia, claim victory and the media will proclaim Biden man of the year and give him the peace award.

No he wasn't. You're just pining for the '80s and the last Ukrainian.

Historically maybe but practically it is a dangerous precedent for aggressors to be rewarded. What if Germany wants Pomerania, Danzig, the Sudetenland, and Alsace-Lorraine back and does something about it. (I suppose it’s one of the reasons for the EU.)

Mexico is taking back Azatlan little by little in places where noone cares anymore.

“And Trump was wrong to say that.” The Venn diagram of Zeepers and GOPe Freepers with TDS shows a strong correlation.

“Aggression cannot be rewarded with territorial concessions, completely unaccpetable in this day and age.” What? Something tribes and nations have been doing since they have existed is now impossible? Are you a disciple of Francis Fukuyama and his little trope “the end of history?”

“Do you think China is entitled to Formosa if they decide to invade?” You reside in a country that lived under the mantra of “Manifest Destiny” for over a century and now has a worldwide empire of satellite states and you still don’t get the concept?

Since you don't get to make any rules and nobody cares what you think, your acceptance of reality - or lack thereof - is completely irrelevant.

The United States has invaded and occupied more countries in the last 25 years than the rest of the world combined.

Some of us recognize the hypocrisy of this as well as the stupidity of a bankrupt nation $33T in debt spending even a nickel on this crap.

Shhhhh!
No one is supposed to mention Libya anymore. Great victory for the Western Alliance and proofof Hillary’s Foreign Policy prowess.

Bonus Question:

Who got Rich(er) during Libya’s Liberation.

(Hint: lots of sand and camels there too. And those that made the instruments of destruction)

Someone posts “pray for Ukraine” every day here.

Looks like prayers are being answered and peace is finally coming to Ukraine.

Hey! At least the Neocons and their DemocRAT allies accomplished the economic hollowing out of America and achieved their goal of instilling despair in much of the populace.
