They Still Don't Get It
We were watching the Tucker Carlson interview with the head of Capitol Police on January 6th. Here is a link. Worth your time whether you absolutely detest Trump or like him.
I think to this day the card-carrying elites and the Deep State along with Democrats who aren’t card-carrying elites have nary a clue why Trump came to power.
Watch the actions of people around the actions of January 6th compared to the riots in 2020. Watch the way you are treated under the law compared to Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul, or Hunter Biden, or Hillary Clinton. When Congresspeople make millions in stock trading and you can’t, how do you think people feel? When Eric Sawell can sleep with a Chinese spy and still command respect and his positions of power within the Democratic Party, what do you think people feel? When people like Mitt Romney are elected using one platform and then act on another, how do you think voters feel?
On local levels, when George Soros elected District Attorneys set criminals free and crime run amok, what is the attitude of people? When people like corrupt Chicago politicians Michael Madigan and Ed Burke get away with brazen corruption at taxpayer expense, where are people’s heads? By the way, a lot of local officials all over the country are like Michael Madigan.

I admit I don’t get it. Pretty much everything is worse after his presidency. He didn’t “clean the swamp” when he had the chance. He joined it. He was willing to sign Pelosi’s bills, spend trillions, lock down states, and take away guns. People say “But SCOTUS!”. People are more pro-abortion now than when Trump became president. He was incapable of changing hearts and minds on the topic. He needs to be liked and will change with the wind if it will get adoration. I don’t care about “mean tweets”. They’re often funny. I’m looking at the big picture. If he made the everything worse last time, how bad will it get next time?

No! Low-information people should not be deciding who to vote for. Just vote for President Trump, take some time off from trying to think - and let’s talk again when you’re better informed.
It wasn't an insult, it was a factual statement (although admittedly I speculated about the "alternative reality" view.)
To test this assertion, ask any of your trusted friends and family members whether each of your statements listed in my post are true of false. Insist on a one-word response, but if they disagree with you ask for the basis of their opinion.
Do not be offended if someone states you are wrong, it may offer a helpful and important learning opportunity.
