Why would we be surprised that the judge here will be an unapologetic Maoist and anarchist who couldn’t care less that the appeals courts will tear her apart when considering the trial and its outcome?
To: george76
How could she possibly be allowed to stay on this case? Gee, I wonder.

Judge Chutkan, for those who don’t know, represented BurismaIs that directly or just her former law firm?

I think the DC jury pool is too likely to be biased against Trump.
The defense should be able to reject all registered Democrats.
The defense and prosecution should be able to reject all persons who refuse to state that they have voted for a mixture of Democrats and Republicans in recent years.

Dircuit Court Judge What is a Dircuit Court Judge? Is both a district and circuit court judge? :-/

It’s not about getting a conviction. It’s about loading Trump down with court, money and paper entanglements.
Old time lawyer’s trick.

Anything is permitted in the attacks on Trump. There is no law the DOJ would enforce if violating it hastens his departure from politics and the planet. There is no outrage powerful enough to force them to become true and honest.
The scarier part is once Trump is gone, those same attitudes and standards will be used against any person or group that questions our state.

And my bet (sadly) is that supremes appointed by Trump WILL recuse when this gets appealed to SCOTUS...
I hate playing by the rules when they do not.
