Rick Beato is incisive and cordially entertaing in his commentary. That goes not only for the matter at hand, but also the many musical facets he undertakes to explore.
I have to discipline myself to distance myself from music, even though I write and perform, as I am too inclined toward emotional investment in the same.
Beato is really good. In one of his videos long ago he mentioned something about never discussing politics in his videos. He’s held true in that no matter who he is interviewing or the music he is discussing.
As for Gordon, I really don’t have the words to express how I feel, other than he will be missed but I will continue to listen to and play his music.
