African tribal leaders sold captured blacks to anyone who would buy them. They sold to us - to Arabs - to fellow black tribes.
I’m proud of the fact Western Cultures made laws against selling humans... and put a stop to the degrading trade - a trade that went on for centuries.
What’s incomprehensible is how some African Americans embrace Islam, a religion that approves of slavery; the religion of the West African slave merchants who captured and sold slaves to buyers in the Americas.
Some descendants of slaveowners are celebrated and given special privileges.
Others, who are not descendants of slaveowners, but who have the same skin shade as them, are demonized and trashed.
Chatel slavery exists in 31 African countries today. All have a black or Arab controlled government. Therefore it’s whitey’s fault.
