Desperate to find a restroom after a nearly nine-hour flight from Johannesburg, South African university student Klaas Mokgomole grabbed his carry-on and hurried off the plane.
Urgently searching out a gate agent at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport and praying that the man understood English, Mokgomole asked sincerely, “Can you please show me to the blacks-only restroom?”
The agent’s eyes widened in disbelief. He told Mokgomole in no uncertain terms that he never heard of such a thing and pointed him to a nearby bathroom.
That’s when it was Mokgomole’s turn to be confused.
Mokgomole — then a South African university student and outspoken youth leader of the anti-Israel, Boycott, Divest, Sanction (BDS) movement — stood in the busy airport restroom dumbfounded as Jews and Arabs went in and out. They would have been oblivious to the transformation taking place as they stepped around him on that day in July 2015.
Recalling that seminal moment, Mokgomole explained to the Tazpit Press Service during a recent visit to Jerusalem, “I was taught very emphatically racism in Israel runs so deep that the Jews do not even share their toilets with blacks or Arabs. To see within the first few moments after landing in Israel that this clearly is not the case marked a turning point for me.”
His curiosity sparked, Mokgomole began what would become a transformational journey from virulent anti-Israel activist to passionate peacemaker and bridge-builder between Israel and the rest of the world. …

Black CRT politicians are going to remove white privilege of using the same bathrooms as superior black people.

Many colleges and universities have “Reset” back to segregation with Black commencements, Black student unions, Black housing, Black classes, Black radio stations and Black newspapers. And it’s supposedly by choice and not by programing/grooming

And the white restrooms will probably end up being tidy and nice places, and the black restrooms will get trashed and nobody will want to go in them, even if they had the best fixtures, etc.
Outrage is the way of youth
It is easy to convince the young that injustice is being done.
Many will refuse to believe the truth even when they see the truth with their own eyes.
That show, South Pacific, premiered on Broadway in 1949.
I've always thought it was at or near the beginning of a mighty push within society to do away with racial boundaries that had existed for hundreds of years.
It's like the people who control American culture decided that — now that WWII was won — the "color line" must be done away with completely.
Many other landmark cultural events and productions had this as their goal, to one extent or another. Some were subtle, some were in your face. Of course, the "in your face" got more in your face as time went on.
The King and I, Porgy and Bess, West Side Story, and many other Broadway shows had anti-racism as a subtext. Television was emerging, and anti-racist messaging was a constant presence. I witnessed this first hand as a child growing up in the late '50s and through the '60s. I couldn't experience Broadway except through cast albums, and playing music from Broadway in band practice.
It's interesting how the elites decided as one monolith that the time had come to change the direction of society. Perhaps it was the existence of atomic weapons that motivated them. Perhaps it was the experience of fighting Hitler, and of seeing the results of industrial ethic genocide in Europe. Of course, ethnic genocide happened with Japan, in China, but I think that was less obvious here in America, because Mao's communist revolution closed China off from the rest of the world. The ghastly crimes of Japan against the Chinese population came out much more slowly.
Everyone knew how the Japanese treated their American prisoners though, and that pretty quickly.
So the push began well before the outbreak of WWII.
The problem with most liberals is they believe things that are simply not true.
