Add in the other 19 conservative votes and on top of that put the votes from McCarthy's endorsement of this plan (so he can become Speaker in April) and you have... SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE DONALD TRUMP!!!

Impeachment in the House done by a simple majority does nothing! Clinton was impeached, Trump twice were they removed from office?
6 year span between the two. But I know of no requirement restricting a Speaker of the House from running for the Presidency. Especially if he leaves office before going on the campaign trail. If Trump only served for 100 days, that would put him there until like mid April 2023 well more than a year from the election.
Actually it does a lot. It won't get a conviction but the Senate trial would bring out a lot of embarrassing things for Biden and for Mayorkas. In the case of the latter it would highlight his disastrous non-enforcement of the law at the border.

\ Do you even UNDERSTAND how the process works? The senators do NOT vote to impeach. That is what the House does by a simple majority. When that happens Mayorkas and/or Biden are IMPEACHED. Then the Senate holds a trial to CONVICT. Yeah, there won't be a conviction but a lot of information and publicity would come out at the TRIAL (not impeachment because that happens in the HOUSE).
Did Pres. Polk do it, or was there a lapse in time before he ran for President?

You mean I didn't CLEARLY read that you wrote that Rat senators VOTE TO IMPEACH?
