What is needed is neither Trump nor McCarthy. They will not be able to enact legislation. The only thing they can do is budget wise (post October 1) and in the area of investigations. And they need to have the courage to investigate the paint off of the J6 Committee, the Biden family crime syndicate, and Anthony Faucci. I do not see McCarthy as having that courage, and I do not see Trump as having the management skill to keep the House GOP together in the face of the attacks they will draw from the media.
Sounds like a great plan to me.

2, Trump is not a conservative. True, he was better than expected, but trusted too many swamp creatures who betrayed him. Not the greatest judge of character.

Actually that is EXACTLY what Trump was born to do: NEGOTIATE.

What I like about this is that this is something McCarthy can endorse. Yeah, I know he wants to be speaker now but if he waits until the 100 days are up he would be Speaker by middle of April. The other PLUS of this is McCarthy’s endorsement of this plan would bring in the votes of even the GOP Trump naysayers since this is the way to ultimately get McCarthy into the Speakership. And for those who don’t trust McCarthy, the wheels of the Committee assignments would already have been made by April and the general direction of the House would have been set too. Very hard to undo that.
Make it a year and a half!

Do you understand how the process works? No legislation (that will be good) is going to be coming out of this session. The Repukes will send a hundred border wall bills that they know will go no where and then use that to campaign. Notice how no one talks about Obama care anymore when that was all anyone talked about 8 years ago?
Another PLUS is that Biden would be too unnerved to give the SOTU speech knowing that Speaker of the House TRUMP is glaring down on him from behind.

Yeah, that describes the presidency. And he did GREAT at that. Speaker of the House requires someone with the ability to NEGOTIATE. Something that Trump was born to do.
