Perhaps a good way to separate the culture is as Churchill did, “The English Speaking World.”

The Germans differentiated themselves by language, long before the age of Nazism. The Muslims do as well combining Arabic with Islam.

“Western” culture?

I think it is a bit broader than just the English speaking world. “WE” have assimilated good ideas from many other cultures.

Doesn’t it boil down to whether you believe each and every person is made in the image and likeness of God, and/or is believing each individual is entitled to the same respect as part of a social contract?

Correct. English culture is quite distinct from French m dutch or to some extent Scottish and Irish.

And this entire “black culture” or “black history month” equally ticks me off.

Blacks from an upper middle class in the north east have more in common with their white skin coloured neighbors than ghetto white or black folks.
