Perhaps a good way to separate the culture is as Churchill did, “The English Speaking World.”
The Germans differentiated themselves by language, long before the age of Nazism. The Muslims do as well combining Arabic with Islam.
Perhaps you find the Latin script more difficult than your native Cyrillic?
