These negatives come from losing three elections in a row. And sure, "real Trump supporters" still support him but Trump's problem is that he needs more than the MAGA faithful to win elections and everyone else has given up on him.

And you're probably right on this. Trump will win the primary only to get wiped out in the general election, losing every state he lost in 2020.

2024 is shaping up to be a loss and the man to blame for this resides at Mar-a-Lago.

If DeSantis beats Trump in the primaries I will gladly vote for him in the general. He won't garner as many votes in the general as Trump did in 2020 however.
