He should be charged with crimes against humanity and tried before a world tribunal! The governors who knowingly sent sick people back into nursing homes should be brought before a jury too...

In this situation, his “I can’t remember” is the prelude to an eventual “I refuse to answer on the grounds that I could incriminate myself.”

You're forgetting the context of this all. WE now know that Fauci and Birx were both lying to him, misinforming him about the disease from early on. This while Italy and other areas were exploding with stories of mass death and devastation from CV. With 20/20 hindsight we can all see it was a mistake. I'm betting you didn't at the time either.
One thing for sure. Trump actively fought to counter the narrative and get things back to normal, and did so against a tide created by the leftist media and politicians. He did not fully succeed, but did a pretty good job considering what he was fighting.
