Democrat Rep. Mary Peltola won reelection to a full term in the House after she defeated Sarah Palin in a special election to replace Rep. Don Young in August.
Peltola was the FIRST DEMOCRAT to win the House seat in solid red Alaska in 50 Years!
Ranked-choice voting and mail-in ballots were implemented by referendum in 2020.
The results of the November 8 election were announced Wednesday night.

Palin lost and Murkowski won for the same reason - manipulation of the elections and candidates by the left.

False as false can be. Begich was in the race long before Palin ever even talked about it. That is reality.
Apparently he is from a big Democrat family and then registered as a Republican.

Doubt it - Palin had Biden levels of unpopularity in the state and has for quite some time.
Palin was also the johnny come lately to the race - Begich was in the race long before she ever even talked about it. She split the vote if anyone did.
Nick Begich was in the race long before Palin ever even talked about it. In fact he was running to challenge Young as an incumbent to his right...that’s how far back his announced candidacy goes.
That is reality.
Ranked choice voting is a really messed up method. It favors the least popular candidates by the way it’s tabulated, and people don’t realize that they don’t NEED to rank every candidate - just the ones they want. It’s really misleading. The Federalist explained it very well.
Was he pulling the majority of R votes? If so, Palin was the spoiler. If not, he was the one. The one with the lowest votes in the primary of the two needed to step down except for the ego and big dick, or vanilla, as the case may be.
