Since Rush isn’t around to make the complex understandable, people do not understand what is going on. This is not about DeSantis. This is the uniparty slaying of Trump, the beast, that they have waited for, for years. They think their time has finally come.
I can already tell you, if DeSantis vs. Trump becomes a thing, we lose in 2024. Either DeSantis or Trump must not run for President. If DeSantis runs, Trump will destroy him, like another Ted Cruz, but will hurt himself in the process.
DeSantis can’t beat Trump and trying will just show his poor character.
And if he did win, he’d lose to Biden, because millions of MAGA would stay home.
I would never vote for any president unless its trump. I will write in his name. DeSantis is pro swamp. And by the way. The media will come after him if Trump leaves. Trump is the one who kept us out of war. Its that reason that they hate Trump. Rubio did just as well as DeSantis so DeSantis is not more liked than Rubio. DeSantis was a Trump candidate. He is spouting all the Trump talking points. And he will fall if Trump is not there to take all the media heat.
DeSantis won bigly because Florida has voter integrity laws. GOP would have their wave if every state did. The GOP House must address this. Ban mail-in voting.
Yeah, gotta challenge the vote fraud mechanisms!
But few are mentioning that Florida actually took some action on that.
He worked hard at cleaning up the mess in Miami-Dade, and it shows.

I wonder how those who reelected him as governor will feel when they hear he’s considering leaving them to run for president in 2024.
