Jerry Lee Lewis is not dead ... as we previously reported.
We're told the rock 'n' roll legend is alive, living in Memphis. Earlier today we were told by someone claiming to be Lewis' rep that he had passed. That turned out not to be the case.

TMZ trying to off another one, first they said he’s dead now they took it back

Mark Twain got the same treatment. Maybe TMZ read his obit too.

It’s still going out that he is dead. Was listening to Jessie Kelly on WOR and their news team just said he’s dead... citing TMZ’s earlier report.
I believe so. It was pretty much down to Little Richard, Fats Domino, Lewis and Chuck Berry.
I thought he died suddenly from grief about hearing Brett Farve was killed on a car accident.
Trivia:
Jerry Lee Lewis, Jimmy Swaggart, and Mickey Gilley are all cousins.
Saw him in the 70s when I was in the Marine Corps, now I am retired and he is still rockin.
He hasn’t played in a while. He is hard of hearing and his eye sight is about gone. It good to see he is still alive though.
She was 13 years old and his cousin, I can’t even imagine marrying my daughter off like that, so young. Friggin’ pedo.
He is 87, a testimony to clean living. Here he is performing at a birthday party this October for Jerry Jones turning 80. JLL is a physical marvel. Age is just a number.
