Yes, the German delegation at the United Nations mockingly laughed when President Donald Trump warned them in 2018 about depending on Russia for their energy. Are they laughing now? Probably not because now Germany is facing a bleak winter of people freezing because just as Trump warned them, the Russians are cutting off their energy supplies.

Lost in all of this is that Russia still hates Germany for attacking Russia in WW2. Russia expected to keep being Germany’s evil ally and take over even more of Europe than they wound up doing with Dim Truman and their spy Alger Hiss.
