He’s doing a fantastic job of turning Jackson into the worst city in the world to live in and he’ll probably be reelected.

Maybe we can get some Jackson residents to speak up on this, but I would imagine this was a city-problem lingering for 30 years, and no one really sensed an urgency to rectify it until now.

You see the same issue for Cape Town, South Africa...where the city and nation was warned for several decades, and just never got around to taking action.

Hey man, our tap water is Green, cool dude, that’s radical!

Jackson, MS: Where they are so progressive even their water, when they have some, is green.

Doesn’t matter. The governors citizens are facing a dire imminent risk to health, even life. In those circumstances the governor has a duty to bring the state’s emergency resources to bear. Too bad it’s not Florida so he could simultaneously suspend the mayor

In all of this, has anyone ever thought to check how much Chockwey’s net worth has increased?

It was an identified problem for about 30 years. The State offered to take over the water system and Jackson refused. Too much graft and corruption in my opinion.

Solution is simple. Blame Republicans. That’s all Democrats know how to do, so why should this be any different? Real solution? Get rid of all of these POS and throw them in prison and toss the key away.

"Lumumba won reelection in 2021 with almost seventy percent of the vote."

He's failed at everything he's done, but the people of Jackson re-elected him. While not necessarily true in national elections, in this case you got what you voted for.

NO. They’ll vote black and to the black who lies to them the most about what he’s gonna do for them.

I don’t like the idea of The Feds being expected to step in. There needs to be consequences and the Federal government does not need its powers expanded.
