A video claims to show a HIMARS ATACMS launcher in Ukraine, but the video is likely just showing a non-standard cover--possibly over empty tubes to protect them from dust and dirt.

Some of you may have seen this video doing the rounds this morning, claiming it is evidence that ATACMS is in Ukraine at the moment. And I can certainly see why people think that, given the rectangle on the back of the truck gives the impression that it is ATACMS rather than the standard rockets.
However, this image here shows the back of a standard, HIMARS six-missile pod. And here is the ATACMS one. Externally, they are the same. With the same six rocket containers. If you look at the back, you can see that they are also the same.
What we are seeing is just a cover for the rockets.
Here is another view of a HIMARS laucnher from the rear. As you can see, a rectangular backplate placed over the rockets would be in the same place as the one in this video. However, it is strange we haven’t see HIMARS using a backplate before—usually they drive exposed, like this.
A closer look here at the backplate. It is a different shade of green. Im wondering if it is a temporary backplate, fitted when the tubes are empty after firing to stop dust and dirt from getting into them.
Finally—and I think it is unlikely but it is worth a look. This still from a video on the PRSM—precision strike missile—does show a backplate. However, the PRSM doesn’t enter service until 2023. It is unlikely that a new, cutting edge missile not even in service with the US would be sent—however, unlikely, not impossible. Martlet has been sent by the UK before its even fully in service with the British army. And the Phoenix Ghost drones which are new, highly-advanced equipment have been sent.
But—we can’t use this cover as evidence that ATACMS is there. It is likely just some unusual cover added to a regular HIMARS launcher.

For the few who don’t already know this:
The suite of Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) are 24/7, all-weather, surface-to-surface, inertially guided missiles used to engage targets in the corps/Army area of influence.
Truth: I never heard of them and just looked it up myself.
If Ukraine gets TACMs, the first anyone will know when important too far away for GLMRs start exploding.
The USG/WEF/NWO will supply Any and All weapons to supply this proxy war “as long as it takes’.
“The cover is over all six launch tubes, the TACMs takes four launch cells. It is most likely a cover for traveling.…”

Waste of bandwidth, even if true.
Like I said in #4, if Ukraine gets ATACMs, we will know when important Russian targets outside of GMLRS range start exploding. Ideally, several of them, in the middle of the night, within a hour of each other.
