RCV is being pushed for the same reason eliminating the electoral college is being pushed: because the left doesn’t think enough of their ilk are being elected, and too many candidates from the right are winning.

They can’t and don’t win under the rules that have existed since our founding, and are codified in the US & State Constitutions & laws, so they must change the rules.
