The funny thing is that its the talking point of RFE/VOA blatantly misinterpreting the original interview of the Russian official.
In real life he stated that no Russian blockade of the Ukrainian ports takes place. Second, he said if the world needs Russian foods and fertilizers they are free to lift sanctions.
That’s perfectly legit observations, but not the spin of it.

Turkey doesn’t care about sanctions. It is going to buy and sell in Russia whatever it wants.

Retired US general calls for “coalition of the willing” for naval conflict with Russia

Hopium must be a wonderful drug if Russia hoped it could hold grain hostage to gain leverage over the world.

The world sees what Russia is doing, and if you notice the comments being made, they are implying what Russia is doing is an act of war.

Don't hope the world is going to sit by and let Russia starve it without a military response.

“Secretary of State Antony Blinken echoed the grim assessment last week in remarks at the United Nations, calling Russia’s blockade “a deliberate effort” to destabilize the world’s food supply.”
—————
But shutting down the production of oil (used for diesel production, utterly critical and a key cost component of food from planting to harvesting to processing and transport to stores) and natural gas (critical to the existence and cost of fertilizer) **WASN’T** a deliberate effort to destabilize not merely the world’s food supply, but every economy on the planet (which has had a huge negative effect on the availability of spare parts for the tractors and trucks needed to produce and transport food)????

FJB and Blinken!

Didn’t realize that Red State is now a mouthpiece for the Neocons. Bummer, they used to be an independent website.

Has it occurred to you that they AREN'T NeoCons, and that you choosing to embrace all the lies of a Satanic, anti-American regime is the actual anomaly here? If you think everybody is the asshole, maybe the truth is you're the asshole?

The article is fundamentally dishonest.

Somehow it doesn’t mention that the mines off the ports of Odessa (and the other ports including Mariupol) were put there by the Ukraine government.

Somehow the article neglects to mention that Russia explicitly said they have demined a channel and are allowing commercial traffic through. 3 foreign vessels already left mariupol and they announced it is open for commercial shipments starting tomorrow.

Instead this author blatantly lies and talks as if Russia is currently threatening ship transport. They said the opposite. They use a trick where they say “they blocked a part of the black sea”. Well, you can’t go alongside Crimea. That’s not blocking transport through the whole black sea.

This isn’t honest journalism, it is blatant lying, and it misinforms the readers. They know they are lying. They know they are omitting key facts and recent developments.

It is amazing how some Freepers agree with ALL of Moscow’s spin and accuse us of believing MSN. Well MSN is backing Ukraine sometimes but not in a decisive way. The invader-loving Freepers call us Neocons and Globalists while they jump into bed with Kissinger and Obama.

I suggest everyone start growing a garden instead. It is time to stop being reliant on the “supply chain” writ large.

And whose starvation sanctions are they? The American gas consumer has paid more than Russia since the West’s sanctions went into effect. Now the traitors in DC will use worldwide starvation in their efforts to accomplish regime change in Moscow. DC is where you’ll find the criminals responsible for most of this cluster.

$60B for Ukraine?!? You support this. How many more billions this month will you gladly give to Biden and McConnell? What happened to MAGA? I see you are all in on Bankrupt America First. How does it feel carrying water for Biden and Soros to keep their DC oligarchical piggy bank open? It’s bad enough when you neocons go on the warpath, but doing it for the NWO?

Were you this worried about 1.2 trillion on the stimulus porkulous? Russia is a sworn enemy of America. They are all flipping us off and sing songs about taking Alaska back. Yes, I like giving money to kill them. If you weren’t in Obama’s camp, you would too.

Biden’s corruption still bears fruits. Russia was played by NATO. I think that NATO miscalculated in pushing Russia to war. War is Hell and there will be Hell to pay. The worst this war is the more people will remember why wars are bad. The US could advert this food shortage by releasing food reserves, but Biden won’t do that and instead blames Russia during a time of war. They are shooting at each other in the Ukraine but if this was a total war, the food would have been captured or destroyed before the blame game started.

“Has it occurred to you that they AREN’T NeoCons”

Has it occurred to you that the Neocons CREATED the conditions that led to this war, and then have kept the war going for months now, even when Zelensky was willing to seriously talk with Russia.

It is the war that the NEOCONS wanted, and they OWN IT.

and then have kept the war going for months now, even when Zelensky was willing to seriously talk with Russia.

This is just a Russkie talking point with no basis in reality. It's actually been quite the opposite, with Ukraine pressuring and pressuring Western public opinion for more support. Yes, Zelenskyy has constantly called for talks with Putin, he still is today (he has offered to meet him in person), and they even had some talks through mediators. At no point did he ever express a willingness to surrender, nor has there ever been any western government "overruling" Zelenskyy on the verge of surrender. It simply has never happened no matter how many times you repeat the lie. It is the war that the NEOCONS wanted,

This is just the same old bullshit we get out of Muslims in the middle east when they blow up a school bus. It was Russia that invaded after 1 whole year of military preparation. The NeoCons didn't force the Russians to invade. That's on them. The NeoCons did not force Russians to gang rape a little boy near Kharkiv, who died from the injuries caused by their rape. That's all on Russia.

The American gas consumer has paid more than Russia since the West’s sanctions went into effect.

Russian media is on tape talking about the possibility of going into "war communism" (their words) to solve Russia's economic problems. The Russian economy is likely going to collapse sometime by the end of the year, hence Russia activating its usual agents in the NYTimes and across the world to pressure Ukraine into surrender and to lift sanctions.

Don't believe what you're shitty blogs and Russian propagandists say about anything. Russia is a liar nation, just like all the totalitarian regimes.

I think that NATO miscalculated in pushing Russia to war.

It's some intense magic for NATO to "push Russia" into preparing for war for more than a year and then actually pulling the trigger!

Remember, there was no crisis whatsoever until Russia began massing forces for its invasion. Russia then blamed it on NATO expansion, which you retards ate up like candy. Then Russia invaded and all of a sudden they're talking about bioweapons designed to eradicate Russkie sperm. Why didn't they announce that at the start!? Because it's fookin stupid and you guys are stupid to believe it.

Oops - sanctioning someone who you depend on for food and fuel might not be the best strategy - and blaming the one you sanctioned ain’t the most honest tactic either.
