I have a birthday this and every year around this time, I post a similar article, from about April 17 thru April 21 or so, some major world and local news events have occurred.
For example, Adolf Hitler and Napolean were born on April 20.
Other events.
The Branch Dividians were incinerated by the Janet Reno and DOJ in Waco on April 19, 1993.
Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols bombed the Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995.
The Columbine School Shooting took place on April 20, 1999.
The Deep Water Horizon Oil Well blew up in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20, 2010.
The Titanic sunk on April 14, 1912.
I could go on and on, needless to say, history has a way of repeating itself and with all the crazy things going on in the world today, something really crazy could happen this week.
Lincoln was shot on an April 14.
I know that those of British ancestry hate him but you can hardly equate Napoleon and Hitler. In the same category.
Abe Lincoln was shot 14 Apr 1865 & died on the 15th.
The Titanic sank on the 15th.
Longtime freepers know there were many articles posted here at Waco time how April 19th was some high holy day for Witchcraft. Maybe some will have those links bookmarked.
Napoleon saved France from French Revolutionary Communism. Absolutely kicked their butts and ended their executions, their persecution of dissent, their suppression of the Church--not to mention reversing their changing the names of days of the week and months of the year. . . It goes on. Saved France.
However, when it comes to Hitler--let's just say it was fitting that they've scheduled each year's Erf Day on Hitler's birthday. People really let you know what they're about, don't they?
The author has a hang up on ‘shooting’.
He mentions the START of The Civil War, but remains silent about the day English colonists had enough of British Redcoat-enforced tyranny, gathered on the village green, and fired “the shot heard around the world”.
Maybe he is a Marxist?
Maybe he is an ‘NPC’?
Or, could it be, ‘he’ would prefer that ‘he’ was not a ‘he’, at all?
