ALEXANDR DUGIN, top Russian philosopher, on the war in Ukraine:

ALEXANDR DUGIN, top Russian philosopher, on the war in Ukraine: "... This is not a war with Ukraine. It's a comparison with globalism as a whole planetary phenomenon. It’s a comparison on all levels - geopolitical and ideological. Russia rejects everything in globalism - unipolarism, atlantism, on the one hand, and liberalism, anti-tradition, technocracy, Grand Reset in one word, on the other. It is clear that all European leaders are part of the Atlantic liberal elite.

And we’re at war with this exactly. Here's their legitimate reaction. Russia is now excluded from the globalist networks. She has no choice anymore: either build her own world or disappear. Russia has set a path to building its world, its civilization. And now the first step has been done. But sovereign in the face of globalism can only be a large space, a continent-state, a civilization-state. No country can withstand long a complete disconnect.

Russia is building a global resistance camp. His victory would be a victory for all the alternative forces, both the right and the left, and for all the people. As always, we are starting the most difficult and dangerous processes.

But when we win, everybody takes advantage of it. That's how it should be. We are creating the assumptions for a real multipolarity. And those who are ready to kill us now will be the first to take advantage of our business tomorrow. I almost always write things that come true. This too will come true"............. And again: “What does it mean for Russia to break up with the West? It is the salvation. The modern West, where Rothschild, Soros, Schwab, Bill Gates and Zuckerberg triumph, is the most disgusting thing in the history of the world. It is no longer the West of Greek-Romanian Mediterranean culture, nor the Christian Middle Ages, nor the violent and contradictory 20th century. It's a cemetery of toxic waste of civilization, it's anti-civilization. And the sooner and more completely Russia is getting rid of it, the sooner it returns to its roots. For what? Christian, Greek-Roman, Mediterranean... - European... That is, to the roots common to the real West. These roots - theirs! - the modern West cut them off. And they stayed in Russia.

Only now Eurasia is raising its head. Only now is liberalism in Russia losing its ground under its feet. Russia is not Western Europe. Russia followed the Greeks, Byzards and Eastern Christianity. And he's still following this road. Yeah with zigzag and deviations. Sometimes in a blind alley. But it's moving . Russia is out to defend Tradition values against the modern world. It's just that "revert against the modern world". Didn't you learn?

And Europe must break up with the West, and the United States must also follow those who reject globalism. Then everyone will understand the meaning of the modern war in Ukraine.

A lot of people in Ukraine understood this. But the terrible liberal-nazist rabid propaganda has left nothing to do in the minds of the Ukrainians. They will return to themselves and fight together with us for the kingdom of light, for tradition and a true European Christian identity. Ukrainians are our brothers. They were, they are and they will be.

A break with the West is not a break with Europe. It's a breakdown with death, degeneration and suicide. It's the key to recovery. And Europe itself - the European peoples - should follow our example: topple the anti-national globalist council. And building a real European house, a European building, a European cathedral”.

But why can’t Soros and Schwab rot in Hell too?

Because Dugin is a Putin puffer.

Nonsense. Truth can not stand in service to a lie. In fact truth stands in opposition to lies. Only the distortion of truth, making it a lie, can serve a lie.
There is nothing about his major proposition that is deceitful, half truth, or objectively a distortion. He speaks clear, objective truth.

Do not read this man. He will poison your mind with anti liberal anti globalist anti Soros thoughts. He is the prime Putin puffer. He should rot in hell.
That argument is as assinine as saying "Don't read Hitler, he will poison your mind with anti-communist and anti-liberal thoughts."

What are your sources for all of the accusations, including the military comment? Any anti-globalist will not get good reviews these days ya know.
You have access to a search engine. It isn't hard to enter "Dugin taught Russian war college."

I never said that everything he wrote is false. Smart propagandists mix truth, lies, and spin. But Ukraine is a traditionalist and nationalist regime. Dugin supports an empire destroying it

He supports a Russian-Chinese alliance, but fantasizes that Russia will run Eurasia. In reality, Russia is the junior partner of China, like Italy was to Germany

Or, it’s Russia annexing the Eastern part of Ukraine, with the West doing a bunch of impotent posturing. Philosophers have a tendency to see more than what is there.
Pardon? Russia didn't annex the Donbass and still hasn't . Putin rejected the idea of the Ukrainian ethnicity, said Ukraine was an artificial country, called Ukrainians the little brothers of Russians, and invaded it calling the regime Nazi. Putin's excuses were a mix of Nazi and Soviet propaganda.

His diagnosis is correct, his prescription is terrible.

I believe that the Russians have a perspective on this that is important and they believe that they are combatting a soul-lessness in the West, so please believe that my comment is meant as sarcasm reflecting the abject deliberate refusal to understand what is going on not only in our MSM and deepstate globalists, but far too many of our fellow freepers here.

I am an avid reader of Michael Millerman who is the foremost and perhaps only scholar studying Dugin.

And I believe that we were headed for a crisis with Russia sooner or later as we continued to press them through the mindless expansion of NATO and the use of our corrupt deepstate to use the Ukraine question as a funding source for their corruption.

Okay, your Hitler 2.x scenario is more likely. That still doesn’t validate Dugin’s analysis.

Ukraine is Russian. Has existed as a nation state for about 30 years. Has been bedeviled by Nazism and corruptions since its inception with major US Deep State collusion. What is your point?

That the modern west is diseased and the visions of the western elites would create a society that is an abomination.

Given the current state of affairs, that is a difficult position to disregard.

The communist revolutionaries of the 20th century also correctly diagnosed the problems of their societies, but their solution made everything worse and led to tens of millions of death.

Pointing out problems is easy, solving them much harder.
