More Reaction… Bureau of Labor Statistics Literally Just Made Up January Jobs Report

he January jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics has no basis in reality. The bureaucrats simply made up numbers to make it look like the economy added jobs.

The economy actually lost about 300,000 jobs in January. ADP and the BLS’s own report admit that. But a 300,000-job loss would hurt Joe Biden. So, the crooked accountants at BLS made up numbers and handed a headline to the ignorant press.

Here’s where the BLS comes out and tells us they simply made up numbers to arrive at the headline the White House communications staff wrote for them:

Who are we to believe, BLS or ADP? I don't trust government one iota. I don't trust big business much either. I'll go with ADP in this instance. What I see with my own eyes aligns more with ADP.

There is zero reason for government to be involved in reporting economic data. They have a serious conflict of interest. Private entities can provide economic data without tax dollars. When there is competition between private entities, the ones that provide the best and most accurate data/services will be used by the people who need the data most.

The data generated by BLS is just one component of feeding a centralized, planned economy by government. That is needed in socialism. Get government out of business. Get government out of medicine. Get government out of our lives.

Probably not the first time reports were issued to help or hurt a president, then quietly updated months or years later.

I am of the opinion that official reports by the government should require two things:

1) A statement that all information contained in the report is accurate under penalty of perjury.

2) A signature of the person within the department that identifies the individual who will be held accountable to the facts represented within the report.

Probably not the first time reports were issued to help or hurt a president, then quietly updated months or years later.

These days, there's no delay. Just issue two, three or more different stories, and let the public try to discern the truth with all the activist press and special interests stir and muddy the waters with 'misinformation' claims.

Heck, even the truth will die in that environment.

The justifiable lack of trust in our “institutions” is corrosive to our republic.

How do people expect our nation to function (under the rule of law) if we cannot even agree on basic truth?

What they did, was “adjust” or “revise” the last two months reports way down, so that the current month looks like an increase, relatively speaking.

They can keep doing this forever, administratively accounting for losses by “adjusting” them into past reports, rather than the current one.

They did it a lot during the Obama Administration.

They way I heard it was Pravda means “Truth.” Izvestia means “News” There is no news in Pravda and no truth in Izvestia.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday […] it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it. [...] The eyeless crature at the other table swallowed it fanatically, passionately, with a furious desire to track down, denounce, and vaporize anyone who should suggest that last week the ration had been thirty grams. Syme, too-in some more double complex way, involving doublethink-Syme, swallow it. Was he, then, alone in the possession of a memory?” ~ George Orwell (’1984’)

> There is zero reason for government to be involved in reporting economic data. <

I pretty much agree. The fed’s need to know the rate of inflation to guide them in setting interest rates. And that’s about it.

Now here’s the sad joke. The fed’s have manipulated their inflation data so much that the data is now meaningless.

And now a word from George Carlin.

“what the true value of the DJIA actually is?”

In an age of lies there is no “true value” of anything.

The “value” is whatever the scammers can convince the suckers to pay....that day.
