I thought that at least the Secret Service supported Trump and would not have conspired with the FBI. I still think Trump should have had some of his folks in place to prevent this. He seems to have been a bit naive with regard to how deep the Deep State is.
If this is true (after all, it’s Roger Stone), it’s very weird. Why would the Secret Service call him, since he wasn’t part of the Trump administration? And how would they even know where he was? And maybe it wasn’t really the Secret Service, but the FBI or informants working with the FBI.
It probably wasn’t even the Secret Service.
So Trump invites people to Washington and his own secret service attempts to set these people up. Increasingly hard for me to believe he is a master chess player, and he may even be a judas goat.
Details are missing here. SS called Stone out of the blue or was this already in motion prior to his Jan 6th trip? E.g. Was he going to meet with Trump on Jan 6th and that is why the SS was calling? I am undecided on whether Stone was being set up, but what i saw on Tucker yesterday did not indicate Stone was surprised about getting a call from the SS, only that they wanted him to go to the Capitol. Where was he supposed to go instead that would involve SS being present?
I’m suspicious of what he is claiming. All this time has passed and he’s coming forward now almost a year later to make these claims? Why now and not a year ago?

He’s actually and interesting guy. Got into politics when he was a kid. Became saved during this whole fedgov legal persecution.
I’m more inclined to think Roger was called by two FBI agents posing as SS. That the agents didn’t know SS would not do a “political chore” gives them up.

Why did two capital police officers that were there commit suicide a day or two after the event? That’s what I want to know. Because they think they failed to protect the capital, or is it because of guilt over setting these people up?
In the same interview, Stone says that the SS also contacted Alex Jones. Jones was delayed at the Trump speech, and got to the plaza after the break-in and tried to persuade people with his bullhorn NOT to go in.
