Details are missing here. SS called Stone out of the blue or was this already in motion prior to his Jan 6th trip? E.g. Was he going to meet with Trump on Jan 6th and that is why the SS was calling? I am undecided on whether Stone was being set up, but what i saw on Tucker yesterday did not indicate Stone was surprised about getting a call from the SS, only that they wanted him to go to the Capitol. Where was he supposed to go instead that would involve SS being present?

Good point; I hadn't thought of that. Apart from that, I can't think of any legitimate reason for them calling him, much less even knowing where he was unless they were still surveilling him.
