Surely, MSNBC contributor Brittany Packnett Cunningham was pleased by the outcome of the trial of the men charged in the death of Ahmaud Arbery. But the focus of her comments on MSNBC on Wednesday night leaves you wondering whether she saw the verdicts as complicating her task of painting the United States as irretrievably racist. You can't ever feel better about it.
Interviewed by guest host Jonathan Capehart on The 11th Hour, Cunningham never once mentioned that a virtually all-white jury in a Deep South state had convicted all three defendants of murder. Instead, Cunningham downplayed the verdicts as "literally the very least we are owed."

In her heart of hearts, would this woman have preferred acquittals, to justify her continued outrage at America?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Disgusting that the idiot believes a specific criminal case is about societal “racial justice”, as opposed to justice for victim and accused. Not to mention stupid.
“we”
What group does she claim to speak for?
That face shows a heart filled with anger, hate and racism.
I never knew the overview of the justice system was there to either enrage or pacify a persons internal source for their constant fake outrage.
Just imagine how low the IQ must be for that headline to resonate with someone - and how completely ignorant that person must be of US laws.
There are millions of them, and they vote (and breed).
This nonsense has led many white liberals to abandon any hope for American blacks; they realized the futility of it when they themselves were targeted for no crime other than having white skin.
“the very least we are owed”
And there you have it. Spoiled, entitled, ungrateful, ignorant whiners.
I’ve seen her on MNSBC many times. She is non-stop outrage.
Wish I could speak to her and ask: what is your vision for America? What would make you happy? If every program, change in the laws, etc. were adopted, would that satisfy you?
Do people have any responsibility for their own happiness, success, or failure? Or is everything to be blamed on a country you view as irretrievably evil?
Surprising she took time off from looting to spew ingratitude on TG day.
While the Cunningham comments were despicable, my bigger problem is with guest host Jonathan Capehart since he never challenged her on them, he made it clear he agreed with her....
CUNNINGHAM: Well, I think that Charles Blow is spot on, and the truth of the matter is, it’s not probable or possible. It is a sure fact that there are other Kyle Rittenhouses out there. And we know that they’re out there because many of their parents are marching into school board meetings as we speak, trying to make sure that the history of this country is not taught.
The guilty verdicts that we saw in the Arbery murder trial today, that was literally the very least that we are owed —
CAPEHART: — Right. (eagerly nodding his head as he agrees with her)
“my bigger problem is with guest host Jonathan Capehart since he never challenged her on them, he made it clear he agreed with her”
Good point. Capehart historically was more of a moderate. He was an adviser and speechwriter for NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
But since moving to MSNBC, he has caved to the prevailing far-left culture.
To add a bit more to my post 12, there is no point in fussing over what Cunningham said... she was a guest and guest can say whatever they want no matter how off-base, leftist and stupid. However, you can go after the host and the host’s boss (for what that’s worth). Since those are the folks with the show, those are the people who need to be questioned and put on the defensive. If no one does that, they can (and will) take the view that ‘they were doing a good job with the interview’.... as opposed to the reaction they get if outraged people call them and express the opinion that “she said that and you didn’t challenge her on it? In fact, you made it clear you agreed with her? My channel selector has just permanently blocked out your channel....”
Shhh - Don’t tell her about Andrew Coffee IV. That would cause her head to spin.
Good point: I really should have mentioned that in the article.
RE:”What group does she claim to speak for?”
From what I am seeing, hearing & reading, I think she is speaking for 85%-90% of black America.
It appears to me that 500 years of western civilization is only a very very thin veneer and is very quickly rubbed off.
Wasn’t quite a win with complete exoneration of Coffee.
The jury ruled on the possession of firearm by a convicted felon charge separately from the other charges.
The sentencing for that charge is set for 1:15 p.m. Jan. 13, Circuit Court Judge Dan Vaughn said in the courtroom Friday afternoon. The maximum penalty for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon is 15 years, though Coffee could possibly face 30 years because of prior offenses, Chrzan said.
Thanks to our unequal judicial system, it never came out that Arbury was loaded with THC and that he was a known thief. He’d go into local convenience stores, steal what he’d want and run off. The jury was scared off by armed black militants lining the streets by the court house. It was manslaughter at most. If the races were reversed it would have been a far different verdict.
Where ma money?
