First of all, those were negligent discharges, not accidental discharges. And it happens when idiots who know nothing about firearms start playing with them. Typically leftist idiots who are anti-gun. Couple that with a green prop master who was in way over her head and the outcome is sadly predictable.
Sounds like Union squawking to cover for some moron loading that gun with a real bullet. Typical Union stunt. Got a woman killed this time.
Baldwin is an ass, but I don’t believe for a second that he loaded that gun. He probably doesn’t know how, and he’s not enough of an actor to pull it off, if he did.
Rumor has it some idiots on the crew were “target practicing” with the prop guns the day before. If true it doesn’t take a genius to do the math from there.
Or Bob Marley
They should say so. I can see that happening if inexperienced people are handling loaded weapons. This is all so unnecessary.
There was only one round fired. It went through the cinematographer killing her, and injured the assistant director. It was a 44 caliber.
Judge Jeannine just said on her show this evening, that the father of the young “armorer”, is a well-known armorer who the 24 year old said “taught her everything” she knows. Looks like she got the job on her father’s coat tails.
Bob Marley?
The questions are, why was there a live rounds on the set? Who purchased the ammo and brought it to the set? All six chambers of gun were probably loaded. Were five blanks and one live round, and that one chambered to be first fired?
Nationwide the same union is in contract negotiations with producers and they have voted to strike if they don’t get what they want. Their main beefs are long working hours and
job safety. Could a disgruntled union worker have loaded the live round to scare the producers?? I believe a thorough and honest investigation will reveal that to be the case. What say ye??
Just like Liz Cheney!
“Baldwin like all leftists doesn’t want to spend his money.”
Every bullet has a lawyer attached to it.
If somebody got shot by it, it’s NOT a prop.

I posted this on another thread a while back. Tonite on Fox on Judge Jeannine’s show, Gregg Jarrett (lawyer) said the exact same thing (a disgruntled union employee loaded live cartridge in gun for revenge). As I’m the only one who posted this slant on what might have happened, I wonder if Jarrett read my comment. Here’s what I said:
“Were the Union guys, some of whom can be real thugs in their own right, (mafia-like) really PO’d at Alec Baldwin who is a big pig (his daughter was the little pig, remember), enough so as to set him up?
Could one of his disgruntled union employees have loaded a live bullet into the chamber of the gun hoping for an incident, to prove how Baldwin wasn’t paying enough attention to safety? Or loaded a live bullet in the gun just for revenge against Baldwin as he is such a jerk?”
“Then the relationship between Baldwin and the woman he shot should be investigated in great detail.”
This was my initial instinct right after the news broke about this shooting:
“You know, that’s the first thing I thought when I saw the pic of the woman that he killed showing that she was very pretty. Revenge for sexual advances made by Baldwin and his being rejected by her. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit.”
I guess they should have done what Baldwin said. He shoots those who disagree or don’t do what he said?
Wild speculation; sabotage by a disgruntled worker?
When one of my sons was little, he made pistols from Legos and once made one from the crust of a grilled cheese sandwich. My wife was against his having toy guns, so he made his own. That cracked me up, but she was not amused. I pointed out to her that I had all kinds of toy guns when I was a kid. My friends and I would watch “Combat” and reenact the battles. I had yet to shoot anyone and still haven’t. Maybe the Baldwin film crew could be trusted with a Lego or grilled-cheese pistol.
I was trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Sure
was uncalled for.
He and his leadership crew have buried themselves on this
one.
Looks like it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving
guy.
So sorry a woman had to die to get this jerk under control.
Heads better roll over this.
Can’t wait to see how Saturday Night Live covers it.
A good thing he did not use a pop-tart

Ah ... the memories.
When I was in Basic a half-century ago, we had a Corporal who was in charge of the arms room. He was an E-4 which is not a high rank but he out-ranked all of us E-1 recruits by the equivalent of three stripes.
The job of checking in rifles is very painstaking because the rifles all have to be checked to make sure they are cleared, cleaned, properly assembled, and that the serial number is properly accounted for. As a result, there is plenty of time for horsing around by an entire company of recruits standing in line.
The Corporal thought it was his job to maintain order (which it was) and he would consistently give people a hard time. One day he pointed a bayonet at a member of my platoon while giving him some order. The guy in my platoon drew his bayonet, attached it to his rifle, assumed an attacking stance, and yelled "HA".
He then told the Corporal, "You want to play f..k around, I'll play f..k around!" (This was at a time when there were quite a few unhappy draftees in our Basic Training company.)
The Corporal turned white as a sheet and I never heard him say another word. Since he was the one who initially pointed a bayonet and was at fault, he couldn't report the incident. He left everybody alone after that.
