I am convinced that the left is ready for an Article V and would hijack the proceedings.
They have played chess and are 10 moves ahead of us while we fight the last battle with nice articles and strongly worded letters.

Hamilton is NOT the man to quote about liberty. Hamilton proposed a permanent president who appointed the governors of each state and had veto power that could not be overridden.

What prevented the states from using Article V before the First Republican-Democrat War? Fear. They did a sort of mini convention but it was too little too late. As a result the country had it's worst war ever.
I mention this because threads keep on popping up about a second Republican-Democrat War. We still have time to avoid it but with the Democrats already on their 4th try to Nationalize Mail In Voting we'd be foolish not to use the one strength Republicans have now. It's 29 Republican to 19 Democrat.
