A STORY I MAY TOLD BEFORE ABOUT FEAR OF ANTI-SEMITISM
Back in the 1970's I was drunk, crazy and politically charged.
Politically charged enough to oppose the Panama Canal Treaty advanced by President Jimmy Carter and opposed by folks like Ronald Reagan.
And I felt motivated to dress for school in 11th grade as I recall using a black armband to signify the wrongness of that treaty.
Well as I moved down the hallway in high school I was advanced on by a girl who pulled that armband off and expressed her anger to me.
One of the Jewish girls in my school thought I was 'doing the Nazi"....
But that fear is there heck I just wore a black armband with no symbol on it swastika or otherwise.
It triggered that response out of fear.
That's fear that government and media propagandists can exploit.
And that brings us forward to this day and the pathetic nonsense that comparing vaccine passports and so on to Nazi Germany in the 1930's is wrong for starters because it is Anti-Semitic?...

Thank You for your thoughts the world needs people right now who have sobered up and are willing to admit their mistakes and are addressing their issues.
In the rooms I frequent we are finding a unity and a spirit that will work even more if more folks change their hearts.
I can’t change other people I can certainly change myself and gain the spiritual strength to face what lies ahead.
I am a “drunk” and I believe in a broad definition of “drunk” that’s beyond drugs and booze to include food, money and yes or course sex.
My ego wants me to think I am the Big One but my Higher Power is ultimately in charge and I need to follow along.
George S. Patton said “lead, follow or get out of the way” and I guess those are the options on the “battlefield”.
