On the heels of being exposed in September for their fake news story about supposed Ivermectin overdose patients flooding hospitals, you would figure that Rolling Stone might want to lower their hyperbole profile a bit. However, no such luck. On October 1 that rag published an extreme climate alarmist hit piece by Jeff Goodell on Senator Joe Manchin for the high crime of opposing the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill. Before you even read the article itself, you know it is a hit piece just from the title, "Joe Manchin Just Cooked the Planet."

I use generous swabs of my special blend of Carolina Sauce.
Instapot.
Always use an Instapot to cook the planet. Really juicy and it cooks really really fast.
Nah...BROIL IT!
They’ve been screaming about global warming and rising tides for 30 years, and they still can’t point to a single beach cottage that is now underwater because of it.
It’s a lie.
The left has professed they are atheists but in fact they have just replaced traditional religion with one of their own making. Instead of saving their souls they are going to save the planet instead. Anyone who is a non-believer is a heretic that must be burned at the stake of public humiliation. Its really hard to argue with zealots and freaks.
Cooked!
COOKED!
Since we came out of the Ice Age that started in the 60’s and ended in 1983, One can only hope and pray for a warmer planet in perpetuity, because, well, the Next Ice Age is Guaranteed and there is No stopping it.
Because of course you can't. You can only shoot them.
Well, to be sure, they have told us is has risen 1/16th of an inch in the last 20 years.I’m not sure how they measure that. But they do point to the Maldives that are slowly sinking. However that is due to pumping out ground water for fresh water and heave construction on the Islands. And the Tsunami 16 years ago didn’t help as it washed over the Islands taking top soil with it. But that was caused by an earthquake, not Climate Change
Climate alarmists always use metaphorical, imprecise, hyperbolic language. To cook something it has to be at what temperature? 212 degrees to boil water? 350 degrees to cook a steak? The earth’s average temperature is around 55 degrees. In 100 years, so they say, it will be 59 degrees. the temperature difference by driving 100 miles north, from Bridgeport CT to Brattleboro Vermont, is about 8 degrees. So we have 100 years to go 100 miles north, if we want to have the same temperature experience. We have to go north by 20 feet per day. I think we can do this. We can walk 20 feet in 5 seconds. We can drive 100 miles in an hour an a half - but we have 100 years to do it. Talk about a “Big Lie”.
Rolling Stone, did Joe do that before or after he gang raped someone in a frat at UVA?
Oh that’s right, that didn’t happen either.
I didn’t know about those things. But it seems pretty weak, given that they were promising a global catastrophe by now.
I want to point out one other factoid that I don’t think most people know ... the satellite record of temperature over the past 20-30 years has shown almost no increase in estimated surface temperature.
The fake rape story, the fake gunshot lines/ivermectin overdose story, fake global warming story, etc.
They sound like a real trustworthy company. /s
As long as it’s medium rare to medium well I’m good.
I’m waiting for Joe to cross the aisle. It’s time.
Barack, Chuck and Nancy are so sorry they didn’t save the planet in 2010 and beg Mother Earth and AOC to forgive them.
I just a thermodynamics calculation. Based on the number of subscribers, printing each issue of the Rolling Stone magazine raises the temperature of the planet by 0.00000537 degrees Celsius. That doesn’t seem like much. But over time, it will add up!
And I’m not even including the damage done to the Earth by cutting down and transporting the trees needed to make the pages.
Rolling Stone, change your evil ways!
(I of course made up that value, 0.00000537 degrees Celsius. But if the Greenies can make stuff up, why can’t I?)
Then why does it taste like Szechwan Prawns? :)
