That’s the problem with treating yourself—you don’t know the right dose, you get subrate care, and you don’t leave a good paper trail (unless his widow took good notes).

He was a fanatic and studied covid and used vitamins C, D, zinc, ivermectin. Seemed young and healthy. The problem with covid is you get a lot of statistical hospitalization based on age and pre-existing conditions, but you’re also rolling the dice. Many people report that its like someone sitting on your lungs or shivering so much you’re worried you’ll break your teeth.

That feeling of skepticism is simple cognitive dissonance, which everybody has a hard time accepting THEY have. I’ve had it and it takes a while to let new facts sink in.

The ivermectin studies show mixed results, with some showing a small but measurable benefit. The stories of “on deaths bed and recovered in a day” are nice to hear, but the scientific studies show no such thing. Otherwise, it would be used in places like India, where the vaccines were a long way away and very little financial incentive to wait for Pfizer. (And it was studied in India, for instance: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34265236/)

The best and only thing that the vast majority of doctors and scientists are recommending is the vaccine, with periodic boosters as recommended by your doctor.

Excuse me? What part is troll? Ivermectin is no cure. Following medical advice on the internet can get you killed. Like it did for so many “anti-vax” dolts. Show me a single “pro-vaccine” zealot who ended up dead of covid.. bet you can’t.

1) After all the sanctimonious preening about "must have MUH Peer-Reviewed Double-Blind Studies"™ (because "SCIENCE!"™)...for someone attempting to spread the propaganda that Ivermectin is dangerous, by using an anecdotal report, of 1 individual, is beneath contempt.

2) Ivermectin IS a cure. You must have missed the graph from Johns F'ing Hopkins yesterday comparing COVID death rates in African countries using the Jab to those using Ivermectin. And there's the metastudy https://ivmmeta.com/ showing that the odds of an ineffective treatment giving the observed results are 1 in a trillion.

3) The zealotry is immaterial. What matters is the jab. The NHS in Britain about 2 months ago released a slide showing the risk of dying from COVID was 742% higher among the double-jabbed than the unjabbed. Israel too is seeing a huge increase in deaths, and it's the most-jabbed country in the world.

Only an evil degenerate leftist would write an article like that or post it.

“Susy Jones died yesterday from a breakthrough Covid infection. She would regularly post messages on Facebook and Twitter prompting her neighbors and friends to get vaccinated. She would tell them that we could “get back to normal” and that “you will be safe from serious symptoms” if they got vaccinated. She trusted the same government that has lied to her numerous times in the past. All of this information has turned out to be very wrong. Her unvaccinated husband wonders if her vaccination actually made her more susceptible. She leaves behind 3 vaccinated teenagers. We do not know what kind of long term effects the vaccine might have on them or how many booster shots they will be required to accept to be protected or to remain compliant with the mandates.”

Could you imagine what kind of piece of shit would write an article like that about a real person who died?

Could you image what kind of piece of shit would post it to rub in people’s faces?

Sounds like some moron got the “Plus” version that has other stuff in it.

And you can OD on Tylenol or aspirin. People do. The news doesn’t run national stories about it.

The results are far from mixed from a truly scientific look at the data available.

I agree the FDA and CDC did a crappy job funding studies and reviewing the available data. Almost no studies were paid for that didn’t involve vaccines. And the CDC was happy to make Trump look bad by badmouthing HCQ and now Ivermectin. And yes, Ivermectin shows some promise— and studies should continue because treatment of covid will remain a problem.

But compare those statistics with vaccines and you’d have a clear winner. Ivermectin is not a cure— if it were, people in the study wouldn’t have gotten covid, wouldn’t have been in the hospital, would not have needed to go on ventilators, would not have had a fever for 14 days, and would not have died.

Yes, the same can be said for vaccines— but the data will make it clear that a periodic booster will do the best job keeping you from getting covid or getting a serious case. Boosters are unfortunate, but not a huge deal.

Breakthrough cases are almost always super mild. I know 5 people with breakthrough cases and the biggest annoyance was having to quarantine. All had a mild case that felt like a light cold for a single day. Which illness do you want?

Obviously I don’t work for a pharmaceutical company (I write software.). I’m just getting tired of watching conservatives getting mocked on their graves by the Left. A subset of my conservative peers are dying needlessly and making the whole conservative movement look like rubes.

Still reasonably priced here for the paste.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you Karl!
Question, Durvet makes BOTH DURAMECTIN paste (your link) and IVERMECTION Paste.
https://www.amazon.com/Ivermectin-Paste-Dewormer-Percent-Flavor/dp/B0894SWN2M/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=Ivermectin&qid=1630687141&sr=8-4
Do you know the difference between the 2 products? Is there any? I note the Amazon brand has “Apple Flavor” listed on package...Perhaps the Duramectin does not?
