There's Something Fishy About Rudy Giuliani's Suspension From Practicing Law in New York
PJ Media ^ | 06/25/2021 | Matt Margolis

President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani has been suspended from practicing law in the state of New—for the most ridiculous of reasons.

The Supreme Court of the State of New York ruled on Thursday that Giuliani violated rules of professional conduct for supporting Trump’s claims of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

“There is uncontroverted evidence that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump‘s failed effort at reelection in 2020,” the 33-page order reads. “These false statements were made to improperly bolster respondent’s narrative that due to widespread voter fraud, victory in the 2020 United States presidential election was stolen from his client.”

“We conclude that [Giuliani’s] conduct immediately threatens the public interest and warrants interim suspension from the practice of law, pending further proceedings before the Attorney Grievance Committee (sometimes AGC or Committee),” the order continued.

Prior to being Trump’s lawyer, Giuliani, a one-time presidential candidate himself, was a prosecutor and mayor of New York City.

Make no mistake about it, this order is absurd. Trump’s legal team uncovered many instances of voter fraud, backed up by sworn affidavits, video evidence, and statistical analysis in the aftermath of the 2020 election. States with significant allegations of fraud included Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Forensic audits are underway right now in Maricopa County, Arizona and Fulton County, Georgia.

I have to admit that the sheer brazenness of suspending an attorney for supposedly lying made me laugh out loud.

Isn't that the definition of "lawyer"? A paid liar?

Just more ways in which the establishment is going to try to destroy any and every Trump supporter they can.

Ben Crump knowingly put an imposter on the stand in an attempt to get George Zimmerman convicted of murder and he’s still allowed to practice law somehow.

Not being a lawyer, I may be incorrect on this but:

If Giuliani is accused of making false statement, would the court not have to prove they are in fact false? Conversely, if Giuliani can prove they are true, then would that not negate the decision?

It seems that if played correctly, Giuliani might have his day in court to present evidence of the fraudulent aspects in multiple states.

Did someone file some of complaint against him?

I’m wasn’t aware that a court, especially an Appellate Court, could make a decision like this, out of thin air.

Is there any kind of precedent for something like this.

But these are absolutely insane times we’re living in, with no pushback from anyone on the Republican side.

People that were at the Capitol are still in solitary confinement while ANTIFA has their cases dismissed. And I’m betting the arrest record expunged.

The world is upside down.

Hey! As a lawyer, I resent that. I’m not a paid liar. It’s just that 99% of lawyers give the rest of us a bad name.

That’s how it should work but I. Reality, it goes like this

If you are a republican/conservative/MAGA supporter, you are guilty and that is that, because the left says so, that’s why.

If you are a liberal lawyer, meh no worries, no charges

It’s called a purge. And that’s just how fascists roll. Obliterate your political enemies, one way or the other.

So next the New York Supreme Court will find anyone convicted in court who pleaded ‘not guilty’ will have committed perjury.

Dad Giuliani get convicted in court for perjury or something similar? If not, then he needs to sue the State of New York for his law license back.

Fishy is not the word to use. Evil. Tyranny. Intimidation. The RAT bastards are sending the signal, loud and clear, that it does not matter who you are, they will end you if they don’t like what you say. Whatever they are, Nazi , Communist, whatever, the one thing they no longer are is American.

RE: If Giuliani is accused of making false statement, would the court not have to prove they are in fact false? Conversely, if Giuliani can prove they are true, then would that not negate the decision?

That is why the court made a PREMATURE decision ( in fact I would call it a POLITICAL decision not based on the merits.

In the past week alone we learned:

So, before we even account for the plethora of affidavits, evidence, statistical anomalies, or even the illegally changed election laws in various states, we’ve had enough revelations in the past week that prove Rudy Giuliani wasn’t “communicat[ing] demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large.”

The Supreme Court of the State of New York’s order likely won’t stand, but it proves the incredible efforts of the radical left to silence those who question the results of the 2020 election.
