Fox Business host Charles Payne told the American people what many in the media wouldn’t dare say: Giving people money to not work doesn’t incentivize them to find a job.
Payne scorched the haphazard predictions by economists and the media that the U.S. economy would add 1 million new jobs in April. He called the predictions a massive “swing and a miss” during the May 7 edition of Making Money. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) clocked the increase in April at an embarrassing 266,000 jobs, and the unemployment rate ticked up to 6.1 percent. Payne lambasted how “the narrative this year is that America was going to go on this string of million job months as our jobs openings created a whole bunch of opportunity. And well, so far that’s not happening.” In Payne’s estimation, “[S]omething is obviously terribly wrong.”
Payne then told his guest, First Trust Advisors Chief Economist Brian Wesbury, that “a lot of this, honestly, has to do with paying people not to work.”

On the bright side, the minimum wage will have to over $15 per hour to compete with the government’s payments for not working. < / sarcasm >

The first thing Biden did I. Office was to get 1000’s .aid off by shutting down the pipeline, then getting 1000’s more laid off by threatening higher min wage, increased taxes on businesses etc. Everything he has done has contributed to horrible jobs report. Trump was making jobs happen even under extreme circumstances like no president has had to face before practically. Now biden is driving businesses overseas again, and giving China a big hand up again.
It’s a shame that some Americans can’t see how horrible dems are for this country? Time and time and time again, dems come along and crap everything up, destroy all the progress that Republicans have made, taste snot out of everyone. Etc.
Biden, not defending the incompetent fool, is not the one to blame for the continued unemployment payments. That blame lies on Congress for passing the legislation to make it happen. All Biden did was sign the bill into law.
People need to stop voting in RINO repubes, demoncraps, communists and socialists crappolas. Elections have consequences. We are long past consequences. We are in the age of the living embodiment of George Orwell’s and Carl Marx’s mind.
And you know that the 266K figure will be adjusted down next month.
That’s the objective.
And CBO’s finding that a $15 minimum wage will kill another 1.4 million jobs is a feature, not a bug.
I do not listen to anyone who voted for Obama.
MAYBE that was all part of Fox’s plan.
Get Biden elected, so that all sane Americans see what disaster the Dems are and the only major TV news company telling them about it is Fox News. Their ratings go up.
