Policing and incarceration was civilization’s alternative to the lynch mob.

A few years back, a man entered a home in Loganville, Ga. The mother was home with her two kids. She called her husband who then merged 911 onto the call. The husband instructed her to get the kids and get into the attic storage area with a .38 they had. Husband told her to keep shooting till the gun went dry if she had to. She had to. Guy opened the door to the attic and there she was, blasting. He was shot numerous time about the face and shoulder area. Was able to run out of the house, jump in his car and tried to drive away. Crashing down the road. Her neighbors, came running to help her. The son had his pistol and the father had a samurai sword, believe it or not.
If the Left and the Squad want old school, western justice, c’mon. Lets get it over with, as I’m growing weary of this Leftist nonsense.

There are more sheepdogs in the general population, some you walk by every day, than you can imagine. And I’m not saying that to badmouth the police. I was one and support them, when they need to be supported.
But, many of us go about our business. You’ll never know we’re armed, some with extra mags. We don’t show our stuff. We don’t have bumper and window stickers all over our vehicles. We give polite head nods, say hello, allow folks to go in front of us and cut the line and we don’t even say anything. We just go about our business. Want to be left alone and enjoy our time with family and friends.
Yes, I would feel bad for the good souls, but I'm kinda hoping some city/town gives it a try. We all know here what the results would be.

I think it’s a overall thing, but the top leadership has always been political and has always followed whoever appointed it. Middle management has been more independent-minded in the past (though there are always suck-ups). Rank-and-file have typically had to toe the line but still were able to think independently. But as a whole the profession seems to be evolving toward militarization and enforcement of political correctness (my observation from the outside). That said, there has always been plenty of corruption, more or less depending upon department.
What else do you intend to do? The Left has proved that they were more willing to fight than we are when they stole the 2020 election and triple dog dared us to do something about it. Chief Justice John Roberts was not overheard saying, “the Right will riot”. He was overheard saying, “The Left will riot”. Just for your information, the Left does not intend to coexist with us any longer than necessary. They intend to kill us. But you will find that out soon enough.
I am in an area where the default is White and armed and many are hunters.
