Major, a 3-year-old rescue from a Delaware shelter and the younger of the first family’s two German shepherds, has been “agitated” at the White House, jumping, barking and “charging,” according to CNN’s reporting. Back toward the beginning of March, Major bit a Secret Service agent. More recently, he “nipped” a National Park Service employee.

Good thing I am not part of the White House Secret Service cause I would be letting my boss know that if that damn dog jumps me or attempts to bite me, going to be a very bad day for that dog. I am sure, that my boss would then have me posted to a new assignment in quick time. lulz.

Well, Caesar Millan is an idiot. The proper term for Major is a fear biter, in other words lacks confidence so anytime he gets cornered he bites. Fortunately they usually just nip and run, so it’s not like taking a bite from a trained protection dog.
He is right that his owner lacks leadership, even in the dog world, he’s a lightweight rather than a leader.
I know everyone gets a star on their social justice calendar by taking in a rescue dog, but a german shepherd in a rescue situation is very likely to be there because he’s a fear biter. I tend to take my chances with a dog that’s bred for a purpose, with proven parents that are trainable and don’t have weak temperaments.
Otherwise you end up with the canine version of Hunter Biden, poor genetics, no training, and doesn’t learn by experience.

It’s not the dog, it’s the owner.
Almost any other dog in any other place would have had to be put down by state law. But when the vet came to euthanize him the secret service shot the vet.
So Obama’s dog bit a White person huh?
