The upper echelon of the military owe their allegiance to Obama. Obama purged the officer corps and NSC. You saw the damage they were able to inflict upon the Trump Administration and America.

Interesting comment, yours, accusing those that serve as merely drones with no loyalty to the constitution. As a guy that served over 20-yrs, flying fighters and going to war, and attending a couple CPAC conventions over the years, I decided to stay because I was part of something greater than myself, I was serving this Great Nation, that my service meant something. . If I was motivated by a paycheck I’d got out after my first commitment was up and would now be making the big bucks flying for the airlines.
I think it unfair to paint servicemen with such a broad brush.

It is one of the big reasons Bush 43 was unable to get many of his nominations for IC, DOJ, and DoD heads through the Senate. The Clinton leftists coordinated with Senate Armed Forces, Intel, Judicial, etc, etc, committee members to keep Clinton heads, or left wing control of everything. In the name of social marxist “civil rights”, we would then purge every agency of government, and importantly the DoD, IC, and DOJ/FBI of the most Constitutionally loyal and patriotic flag officers, and on down through the ranks.
It heavily impacted recruiting commands, and IC and DOJ agency recruiting architecture as well.
Conservatives out, hard core leftists (constitutional enemies and illiterates) in.
And for all those who didn’t resign, or get forced out, we began, and have to this day, required heavy annual indoctrination and emphasis on all things pro LGBTQ comformity. Don’t go along - you are chaptered out with various articles cited.
Most recruits coming in today, are clueless, and merely reflect the hard left indoctrination they have only known from K-12 and college. Officers and enlisted are generally coming in hard left for a couple decades now.

The IC and DOJ recruit heavy strait out of colleges, and from the DoD.
Many conservatives believe the military can swing or control the leftists IC. HOWEVER, with the exception of hard core SOCOM andaybe their “feeders” the DoD, and especially the uniformed intel units which steer the Pentagon, are filled with left wing servicemembers. It’s not all by far, but it’s almost a split today.
I hope and pray otherwise, but it is questionable IF the military has enough constitutional loyalists to get anything right.
And most flag officers today are left wing political hack glory hound prostitutes.
