Parler CEO John Matze has responded to Amazon kicking the platform off their hosting services, calling it a “coordinated attack.” On Saturday, Amazon kicked Parler off their webhosting service, meaning the platform will be offline until they find a new host.
The ban goes into effect on Sunday, effectively shutting down the platform that conservatives have flocked to since the big tech giants began banning conservatives.
In a post on Parler, Matze wrote that “Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet. There is the possibility Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on amazons proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products.”

This truly is fascism. When giant private industry conspires with The State to supress freedoms and their competition.
Never had Twitter. But signed up for Parlor this morning.
Stuff about to happen.
I I believe that this reeks of anti-trust issues and Rico!
Actually I think that there is a lot of antitrust issues and RICO when you have these three or four mega companies agreeing to do something like this together. This is definitely set up to break them apart. They conspired together
Competition is dead. Amazon/Google/Twitter/Facebook is a cartel and they will not allow the rise of any conservative platforms.
Saw on Sharyl Atkinson’s web site they will be back on Tuesday

Possible CAUTION... is Parlor the same as Parler? I noticed on the App Store that search doesn’t show the Parler app but still shows an app called Parlor.
Hey Amazon... you might want to take a quick look at Twitter’s stock nose dive... That’s in your future!!!
Free Trade was supposed to make China like us. The opposite happened.
None of these groups care about the laws, because they are the law.
The way this sounds, maybe Parler is going to sue Amazon for anti-competitive practices, but I don’t know what the law is.
That’s the smart thing to say, so they can file antitrust lawsuits in the future.
I still can't get into my account, I go through a million Captcha thingies and still cannot access my Parler account.
The interface is very unfriendly and looks like it was built in the 1980s.
What Parler needs to do is to merge with Gab or build their own private servers.
Well utilities are not the government. Can an electric company cut off service to someone who "stormed" the Capitol? How is a ubiquitous ISP, server, or AppStore any different from a utility?
They will try. I think it unlikely they will succeed.
There’s a billion other webhosts who don’t give a crap as long as you pay your bill.
It’s not to kill competition, it’s to kill non-followers of their Marxist religion.
I meant Parler. Good catch.
It has absolutely nothing to do with competition. It has to do with censorship and tyranny. These people will be cucking on their way into the gulags.
