When I was a kid, space flight announcers were no-nonsense type guys who spoke in an almost matter of fact neutral manner. How that has completely changed! An example of this change was the recent flight of the SpaceX Starship SN8 launch in Texas during which the highly emotional announcers wore their hearts on their sleeves and sounded almost identical to the famous Double Rainbow Guy.

In the past year or two, I’ve noticed how so many of the male voices in TV ads are so namby-pamby and effeminate. One of the worst is the voice-over for the Honda ads.
I can just imagine the late great Phil Rizzuto, who did the Yankees play by play. “That rocket is up there, and it’s going, going, going, gone, HOLY COW, GOOD BYE!!”🙂
I listen to radio several hours a day and have noticed something similar with NPR’s on-air personalities. The females all sound like mindless junior high girls, while many (not quite all) of the ostensible males sound gay or feminine, fussy. It’s really hard to take them seriously, nevermind their kneejerk leftism.
I’ve noticed the same thing, they all sound like faggots nowadays.

LOL. But, truth is, the people on the NasaSpaceFlight YouTube channel are not NASA or SpaceX employees. They are a collection of YouTubers that live stream all thing SpaceX related.
A male is announcing? Not a woman? WTH?! I object!
Women should be announcing large, thrusting rockets shaking the ground and penetrating the atmosphere to eject their payload into orbit.

I’ve been watching WW2 since I was a kid in the 60s. I grew up in a household where, depending on the holiday, bbq, weekend visitor, I might hear Russian, Slovak, German (several dialects of), and spent several years in Bavaria in my 20s.
I love listening to/watching German language films not just for the comfort of hearing the language, but teasing out nuances the translators got wrong.
My wife can NOT be in the same room as I when watching such films. Just a gut reaction of hers to the language.
That’s fine, every single time she watches one of those homosexual baking shows, homosexual apartment/house selling shows, homosexual ANYTHING with “that voice,” that competitively heavily affected, simpering, lisping, I hate my daddy I’ll be my mommy voice, I have to leave the room.
Just a gut reaction.

I don’t HATE it so much as, like some people can’t tolerate the sound of nails Qvietsching on a chalkboard (which I love), Fran Drescher’s over the top Nanny voice and the like, it’s just visceral, makes me nauseated.
I would like them all to shutup while the rocket is lifting off and in landing so we can hear the rocket noise!!
Commercial and government entities have been trying to shove pajama boys down our throats ever since ... pajama boy.

But we have become a funny kind of republic, in that we seem to be run as if we were a democracy.

Those Nasaspaceflight dweebs are unwatchable. They know nothing and let it show. The only good part of that channel is Mary from Boca Chica. She doesn’t yak all day and she lets her videos do the talking. You really nailed it PJ. Happy New Year!
