It’s the dementia. Anyone who has experienced the degradation with a loved one has seen it. They fall very easily...and hard. It’s a part of the deterioration of the brain function.
Sure, all those people voted for him. Yeah right. America has earned the whirlwind that is coming.

Constitutionally, and hypothetically, wouldn’t Trump be the president if Biden keeled over? Congress would decide between the two candidates with the most electoral votes.

It is moments like these when I think we are living in a hologram.
In literature and movies the characters get physical “wounds” to “mark” their evil deeds.
The problem is, with that crowd, you just never know who’s going to off who in order to grab the presidency.
It cannot be safe to be a big player in the democrat party.
The walking boot will make it more difficult for him to put his foot in his mouth.
Interesting to think about. Biden is not President yet. Electors have not been appointed. The electors have not given their votes. He has not taken the oath of office.
Timing is critical here. If Biden hit his head and died instead of sprained his ankle, then it seems to me that this falls squarely on the electors and their selection. Succession does not matter, so none of this goes to the VP stuff, then Speaker of the House. It makes no sense to seat an elector for a dead man. One the other hand, I am sure Blue States would appoint electors for Harris.

However, I am inclined to believe they wanted him to fall. If they had been serious about keeping it upright, they likely would have tasked the same aides discussed in this story to stay close to him:

After all, one of them has to stay close anyway, just giving him or her a task when there are no little girls or women with long hair nearby would simply be an efficient use of campaign money.
