I took a concealed carry class a couple of years ago ... never went through to get my permit because I don’t want them to suspect I have gun(s) - they put it on your DL. I inherited my guns (one passed down several times before getting to me) so there is no paperwork ...

Heck, I’m tempted to buy a gun just so I can refuse to comply.

False. I left Connecticut as my fellow “never me, never here” pseudo Patriots lined up to register.
Resistance is a very, very small amount of people.

Gun control is people control, nothing else. It’s kinda like trying to stop drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to own cars.

That’s where “III” percent
came from.
It’s noted that only
3 percent stood for
The Revolutionary War.
That crazy

I have news for the author of this piece:
Biden doesn't need Congress in order to enact at least some of this.
All he has to do is to have the ATF determine that any semi-automatic firearm is "readily convertible" to a machine gun, and poof!, all semi-autos are now machine guns, and thanks to the Hughes Amendment, cannot be registered at all.
Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in.

What is National Review doing pushing a column that purports to be conservative. Did they get Lowery’s and Goldberg’s permission for such heresy?

First thing. Stop allowing the Left to define the terms.
An civilian AR or AK is not an assault weapon.

Democrats would pay the price at the ballot box. IF they retain control of the White House they are prepared to sacrifice the Senate and/or House. We saw this with obamacare.
They knew it was unpopular and paid for it at the midterms.
Yet they retained the WH and obamacare is still on the books.
They will do the same with the 2A.
